Arranging

Here's some information about the stuff I compose and arrange, and what I could maybe write for you! Everything here comes with a full score + parts (if applicable), but entirely downloadable as I'm not yet offering to create and ship physical copies. All prices are per minute of music but will vary depending on style/difficulty

Contemporary Classical Chamber Music

$60

I attended the Boston Conservatory High School Composition Intensive in 2021 and 2022, and had multiple compositions performed by professional groups including Transient Canvas, Semiosis Quartet, and Worcester Chamber Music Society . I've also more recently written pieces for different chamber groups containing winds, strings, percussion, and vocals at the Frost School of Music. I love taking a very modern harmonic approach to new music as well as heavily considering emotional responses.

Choral Composition/Arrangement

$60 + $10/part for practice tracks

I've been in choral groups since I was very young, and have always been enamored with the way human voices can make the best songs you could possibly hear, and there are few things more fun than trying to replicate that. I haven't had any choral pieces performed, but I have written some on my own and made multitrack recordings of myself singing the parts, which I am willing to do as an added service for practice tracks.

Jazz Composition/Arrangement

$70

Jazz arranging has had a special place in my heart because in my last year of high school, our jazz band premiered a ballad arrangement I made of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", and I began to cry during the final shout section because of how moving it was to hear it being played live. I specialize in arranging and composing ballads for jazz big bands, typically in very dramatic and emotional ways to get the audience in tears.

Contemporary A Cappella Arrangement

$60 + $10/part for practice tracks

I've been arranging a cappella music since 2019 after a phase of infatuation with Jacob Collier arrangements like "In The Bleak Midwinter" and "Moon River", so my early arrangements bore many similarities, but I've since gained a wider appreciation for arrangement styles for different genres of groups. I'm now in a period of arranging for contemporary performing a cappella groups, whatever type of song you'd like in whatever style you need.

Barbershop Quartet Arrangement

$45 +$20 total for practice tracks

Barbershop quartets have been a big part of my life over the past few years, and I've quickly developed a love for their arrangements because of how particular and fascinating the style is. I've arranged both ballads and uptunes that are of the contestable barbershop style, but with a more modern flash, and I'm willing to make practice tracks so that you and your group can learn them!

Contemporary Pop Ensemble Arrangement

$20

Perhaps you have a band with a rhythm section, a vocalist, and some horns or strings, and you want to perform a Bruno Mars song that doesn't already have those instruments. That is something I've done quite a bit of. In high school, there were a few times when I'd have a random assortment of wind and string instruments for a performance and I'd have to arrange a pop song for that group. I've been doing this in college quite a bit too, and it's always an awesome experience.
